G Boutique Hotel, Portsmouth

The hotel had a great variety of room choices, and the staff was really friendly. However, being close to the street made it noisy at times. The rooms were clean and well-appointed.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, within walking distance from the pier, and the staff are lovely and provided excellent service. The rooms, however, suffer from dampness and mold due to blocked drains, needing some serious updating and TLC.

The hotel is in a quiet part of Southsea just off the promenade but within easy reach of the ferry terminals. The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean with lovely crisp sheets, although the absence of an armchair was a letdown. The service was amazing and very helpful, ensuring swift resolution of any issues. The location was fantastic, being very close to the seafront and convenient to explore by walking or bus. The dining experience was impressive, with cooked-to-order meals and delightful staff, although the absence of brown bread was noted. Overall, a pleasant stay in a convenient location offering great service and dining.

The hotel is conveniently located near attractions in Southsea and Old Portsmouth, offering safe onsite parking. The rooms overlook a small courtyard, and the dining room has views of a weed-filled area, which could be improved. The service is exceptional, and the included breakfast is delicious. Despite a possible improvement in the dining area's speed, the offer is great. A nice walk to Gunwharf Key is an added bonus.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were delightful with a king-size bed, lovely bedsheet, and oh my, the jacuzzi was a real treat. However, the service was a bit inconsistent. The location was superb for beach access, but lacking local dining options.
